ASP1 Yoga Teacher Training
The Ayurvedic Institute’s Ayuryoga® 200-hour certification program concentrates on teaching the students how to conduct appropriate yoga instruction while working with private clients. Attention is focused on alignment, sequencing, hands-on techniques, and basic client assessment methods.
Working alongside the ASP 1 curriculum, we integrate and incorporate these principles to guide your ability to work with clients by incorporating both yogic and Ayurvedic principles for healing.
ASP2 Yoga Teacher Training
The Ayurvedic Institute’s Ayuryoga 300-hour certification program will deepen the integration of Yoga and Ayurveda in working with clients privately. Working alongside ASP 2 studies, students will expand their understanding of yoga chikitsa, merging all aspects of Ayurvedic protocols from lifestyle practices to herbalism and Eastern philosophy/psychology to create and teach clients.
This advanced certification training offers students ample clinical experience through the Ayuryoga Clinic to cohesively strengthen and merge their knowledge and understanding of AyurYoga and Ayurveda.
Immersion Programs and Intensives
The Ayurvedic Institute offers 200- and 500-hour Ayuryoga® certification-based programs for students who are not part of our ASP 1 and 2 programs.
Both of these programs were created to offer experienced Yoga students advanced training in Ayurvedically-based yoga.
We offer this training as 10-, 7-, and 5-day immersion courses to progressively build toward a 200- or 500-hour Yoga Alliance-recognized Ayuryoga certificate.
This 500-hour program serves as the foundation for our upcoming 800-hour Ayuryoga Therapy Certification program.
Entry into all of these programs is based on an application process. They have a pre-requisite of a minimum of one year of study and practice of Yoga as well as 30 hours of Ayurvedic studies.
The Ayurvedic Institute’s ASP 1 and ASP 2 optional Yoga Teacher Trainings meet the standards of curriculum developed by Yoga Alliance® (YA).
We are a Registered Yoga School (RYS) at the 500-hour level, Ayurvedic Institute ID #19894.
